I worked with Ed many years ago at what was then known as Standard & Poor's, k/n/a S&P Global Ratings, and subsequently stayed in touch while he worked at Ziegler Securities due to our mutual interest in continuing care retirment communities. Ed was truly a gift to humanity. Always chipper and willing to discuss intricacies of anything pertaining to municipal bond finance. Ed was also a good comedian. Slapstick humor was his forte. We had a nice tribute to him today, May 17th, at the Municipal Analysts Group of New York Meeting and I met his daugter Maureen who confirmed it was her that Ed used to say that when she was little and was in school and had to tell what her father did blurted out with pride.." my day sells municipal bombs". That's Ed in a nutshell loving his family, great humor and dedicated to his profession (not to mention God and Country). Ed will be sorely missed by all!

Ed was a generous donor of his experience and appreciation as a Trustee of The Ursuline School. May his spirit remain with his family and friends.

Ed and I met in grammar school at OLA. We saw each other occasionally in the years following. He was always a warm friendly person who I enjoyed being around. We used to laugh together as we read Mad Magazine, which we both were fans of. I have good memories of he, Pat Stewart and I palling around in the old BRONX neighborhood. RIP, my friend.

We have lost a wonderful caring kind person with a fabulous senses of humor and a deep appreciation for the immediate moments of life and gratitude for other people. You blessed us with your presence Ed. Grateful that you are at rest with no pain. Will continue to keep your dear wife and daughters in my prayers.
