Sherry, Donald H.
Donald H. Sherry, 85 of Sunrise, FL passed away peacefully on September 29, 2017 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Sherry, of 45 years in 2003 and his parents Aaron and Rosie Shereshefsky. Born in the Bronx, New York he lived over 50 years in New York then retiring to Florida. He received a bachelor's degree from Bryant College and proudly served in the Korean War. Donald was an entrepreneur owning his own business selling industrial maintenance supplies.
He and Roberta raised their family in Spring Valley, New York. Donald is survived by his daughter Andrea (Leon Chlimper) of Fort Lauderdale, two sons Jonathan of Boca Raton, FL; Peter (Maria Magistro) of Nyack, NY as well as five grandchildren: Nani, Amy, Daniel, Sofia and Stella. He is also survived by his sister Claire May of Boynton Beach, FL as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Vitas Hospice of Palm Beach County Florida for their dedication in the care of Donald during his last weeks of life.
