I very much respected Uncle Jerry and his whole beautiful intelligent, and kind family. I would visit him in Congers, and he would always take a sincere interest in my well being, and cared about what I was doing with my life. He encouraged me to continue my studies in New York City and I listened to his advice. He was a fine gentleman. I would love to hang out in the basement with his whole family, and my grandfather and Uncle David. and Scruffy, the Collie. They would love to watch hockey . Aunt Annie would make delicious lemon meringue pie . I loved their whole family.
I wish I could return back to New York and be with my family again.
I am sure you are in heaven with Benjamin Mcleod and Josephine Fraser.

Dear Elicks Family, My thoughts are with you as you go through this difficult time. My memories of your dad are of him as your biggest fan during high school hockey Jerry & Chris. I know he supported you and your sisters in so many ways which is a direct reflection of your current success. Loving yet firm and a stoic man who was humble and kind. May he live on in your hearts, your childrens, and their childrens. Love, Betsy Ritter Mott
