James "Jimmy" Joseph Miller
Stony Point - James "Jimmy" Miller, passed away August 7, 2019. He was the sixth of ten children born to Frank and Betty Miller on August 16, 1955 in Suffern, NY. Like his parents, he carried on the Miller tradition of being a hard worker. Jimmy had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back. He was well loved by all. Jimmy treasured his family. He had a sunny disposition and a great sense of humor. He also had a passion for fishing and could often be found dropping his line in the Hudson River. Jimmy devoted his time and love to his grandchildren, who called him Pop Pop. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Betty and Frank Miller, his brothers Martin, Frankie and Richard Miller, and cousin Todd Ginnity. He is survived by his beloved daughter Ciara Miller, his four cherished grandchildren Giavanna Miller, twins Aniyah and Elijah and Jeremiah Givens of Stony Point, NY, his loving six siblings; Karen Lenoir of Berkely, CA, Michael Miller of Ossining, NY, Bettina Shaw of Fallon, NV, Theresa Miller of Pomona, NY and Joseph Miller of New City, NY, Nancy Terpak of Mount Hope, NY and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Jimmy's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St Peter's and St Mary's Church, 115 Broadway, Haverstraw, NY 10927. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Rest easy my "brother in law" family and friend. I will miss you alot. You were always there to lend a hand and I really appreciated all you did!
