Mrs. Danza replaced my original homeroom teacher at Salesian H.S. in 1978. She was a kind-hearted teacher who I have not forgotten these many years ago.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

RIP Mrs. Danza.

Mom was my mentor for so many years and I came to love you girls and your Mom and Dad as my own. So happy you had so many years with your amazing Mom. My heart is with all of you girls and the grandchildren at this time.

I'm truly sorry to hear that you have passed. I had you as the best English teacher in 9th and 11th grade at Salesian High School in New Rochelle,NY You brought all my writing creative juices to the surface anytime you had us write something for your class. The best paper I ever wrote was in your class called Death vs Emily Dickinson. You not only gave me an A+ but set it as an example for other students to follow with the MLA guidelines on how to document your primary and secondary sources. I often look back at the classes I had you as my teacher and NO ONE in my undergraduate or graduate studies in English courses could hold a flame to what you taught me in your classes. You will be missed but never ever forgotten in my heart or mind. God Bless you and your family and loved ones as they were blessed to have you in their lives.
