Marilyn Silver
North White Plains - Marilyn Silver passed away January 1, 2019 at the age of 86.
She is survived by her loving husband Aaron; two daughters, Michele (Mirza) & Debbie and 3 grandchildren, Alison, Anthony & Olivia.
Marilyn was married to Aaron for 65 years. They married in 1953 while Aaron was on active service.
Marilyn was Board President of Edgebrook Cooperative Incorporated for 13 years. She also volunteered at the Virginia Road School cafeteria and tutored students in reading at a homeless shelter. She enjoyed working at the election polls for many years and was treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish War veterans. Marilyn enjoyed playing Mahjong and Canasta and loved animals, especially her cat, Timber.
She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers please make donations in honor of Marilyn Silver to the American Kidney Foundation.
