Mary Camille Pisano
Pelham Manor, NY - Mary Camille Pisano, longtime resident of Pelham Manor, New York since 1943, entered into Eternal Rest at the age of 90 on March 26, 2019. She was born in New York City on June 19, 1928 to Antonio and Nicoletta (Pellino). Mary attended St. Brendan's Elementary School in the Bronx, Pelham Memorial High School (Class of 1945), and Katharine Gibbs School in NYC where she completed a two year degree in 1947. Mary was a devout Catholic with a strong love for the Blessed Mother, which had a strong influence on the way Mary led her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to all who loved her.
Mary married Vito (Ace) Pisano on May 8, 1948 at St. Catharine's Church in Pelham. In addition to being a devoted and loving wife and mother of two sons, Mary enjoyed taking dance lessons, reading, traveling, cooking, baking, shopping, and most of all spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her devoted and caring husband Vito (Ace) of 71 years, her loving son Robert Michael (Betty Ann), a daughter-in-law Carol; four grandsons Robert Michael Jr. (Angela), Andrew John (Amy), Jeffrey Thomas (Julie), Anthony Joseph (Jeffrey); eight great grandchildren: Roberto, Salvatore, Vincent, Damian, Chloe, Christian, Anthony (Ace), and Raphael. Mary is predeceased by her son Anthony Joseph, grandson Michael Anthony, brother, Paul Pellino, and sister Teresa Venturini.
To honor Mary's life, her family will receive visitors on Thursday March 28, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes, 824 Scarsdale Avenue, Scarsdale, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 575 Fowler Avenue, Pelham Manor, NY Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 95 Kings Hwy, New Rochelle, NY.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to Calvary Hospital, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, NY or at www.calvaryhospital.org.
