Ann Moloney

Ann B. Moloney (nee Kearins), 90, of Yorktown Heights, NY passed away on August 24, 2017. Ann was born in Sligo Ireland on January 13, 1927 to Michael and Teresa Kearins. She came with her brother John to the United States on March 17, 1947. Ann married William Moloney on January 29, 1955 at Holy Spirit Church, Bronx, NY . She was a parishioner of St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church in the Bronx before moving to Yorktown in 1972. She is survived by her devoted husband William, loving children: Delia Moloney, Noreen Moloney English (Patrick), Maura Moloney Sniffen, William Anthony Moloney Jr. (Maureen), cherished grandchildren: Katie, Erin, Shannon, Courtney, Cara, Meghann, Madeline, Liam, and William. Ann is also survived by her siblings: John, Tommy, Leo, Raymond, Mickey, Christie Kearins, Tess Cirbus & Rose Quinlan, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Ann is predeceased by her son Thomas on June 16, 2017. Family and friends will honor Ann's life on Thursday from 4 to 8pm at the Yorktown Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at 10am at St. Patrick's (Stone) Church. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
