Weiss, Joseph
Joseph Weiss, a long time resident of Hastings On Hudson Ny New York and of Palm Coast Florida, passed away on Thursday, November 2 at the age of 95.
Born in Poland June 19, 1922. Joseph Weiss immigrated to the United States in 1948. He was a survivor of the Holocaust and served in the Polish army. He married Annette C. Ross in 1949 and remained married for 63 years until her death in 2012. He became a successful business owner, owning many stationery stores. He was also a successful property owner. He was an active member of the Jewish community in New York and Florida. He enjoyed all areas of history, spoke multiple languages and was an avid golfer and scrabble master but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family. He was survived by his daughter Wendy Marone, his granddaughters Marissa Moussa and Erin Marone and his 2 granddaughters.
