Colello, Barbara E.

Barbara E. Colello, a long time Yonkers resident died peacefully on August 27, 2017 at the age of 68. For many years, she worked as an interior designer. Afterwards, she became a 911 dispatcher for the City of Yonkers, retiring after 20 years of service. Beloved former wife of John P. Colello Jr. Devoted mother of Barbra "Missie" (Christopher) Ulrich and Jessica (Joe) Roman. Dear sister of Edith "Dee" Stradling, Claire (Steve) Kantor and Robert B. Stradling Jr. Cherished grandmother of Cassandra Ulrich and Anthony and Olivia Roman. Loving aunt of Katelyn Kantor. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue on Wednesday from 4-8pm where a funeral service will take place at 5:30pm. A memorial service will take place in Fort Pierce, FL at a later date.

I only recently heard of beloved Bobbie's passing. It's been a very long time but I will never forget the loving kindness of Bobbie and her family. A warmth that will forever shine in the hearts of all who knew sweet Bobbie. Especially mine, with deepest love and respect.
