Kemmer, Lillian R.
Lillian R. Kemmer of New City, NY, a lifelong resident of Rockland County, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the age of 96.
Lillian was one of ten children of Anna and Edward Hauser. She graduated from Congers High School in 1938.
Lillian was an avid gardener and bird lover. One could always find Lillian in her green house or garden growing her prize vegetables and flowers.
She is survived by her son, Frank Kemmer Jr. of New City and daughter, Barbara Helfenbein of Ellicott City, MD. She is also survived by her sister, Gertrude Brizzolara and her brother, James Hauser. She is predeceased by her husband of thirty-three years, Frank Kemmer.
Visiting hours will be Friday from 3 to 5 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to, United Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Lane, New City, NY 10956.
