Aunt Barb was the sweetest most loving person I ever met. She always made me smile and laugh. I was blessed enough to have been apart of that loving family for 12 years. But, even after it was over we still say I love you when I talk to any of them. She will be loved and missed greatly. I love you all. My thoughts and prayers are with you...

Barbara was always upbeat, happy, optimistic, helpful, compassionate, kind, generous- the list could go on and on… Though I was only around her for a few short years during my wayward youth, she is one of my Mothers in the virtual village that has carried me through life thus far. I am fortunate and grateful to have known her. Charlie, Denny, Linda, Tim, Lisa, Emily, Amy- I know that you miss her so very much, but now that she has her Wings, she'll be right there instantly wherever and whenever you need her, helping you along as she always has. Love and blessings, to you all.

I am signing this for myself...Aunt Barb was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Her smile was infectious, always warm and loving. She will truly be missed in this family, and I am so very thankful that I became part of her family!! Rest well sweet Aunt Barb until we meet again in our Father's House.... And I am signing this for my Dad (and her brother Glenn)...he can't even turn on a computer, much less use one...:)...he has been so very hurt by this, all he tells me is that no one on earth knows how much his family means to him and that he will NEVER forget what they have done for him. Always know how very much you are loved in KY, and that love NEVER dies, it only gets stronger...peace be with all of the family during this time of sorrow...Amy

I feel so lucky to have had this awesome women in my life. I think she would want everyone to take all the love she has shown, pass it around and be proud of all she has given to all of us. Let that love keep us all strong. She will never really be gone. Let her dwell in our heart everyday, smile and be thankful. Lucky me for knowing her and her wonderful family.

March 7, 2013

Wayne, Linda, Denny and Timbo...All we have now are the wonderful memories. I loved all the stories we would relive every time we got together. Like the plane in the tree, sliding down the water at the locks, all of us in the boat Wayne had on the Ohio. All the crazy things we did as a family can never be replaced. Barb, Dad, Danny and Jimmy are gone, so we need to be there for each other still. I love you Waynie Boy and I'm truly sorry that you no longer have your Barbie Doll at your side but she will always be in your heart!

I had the privilege of meeting the Lentz family in Naples. I had not seen such a close , and fun family before. The love Charlie and Barbara had for each other was obvious, and that love was ever present in themselves and their offspring, whom I have felt privileged to know. I know everyone will feel her absence, but rest asssured it is only temporary. One day we will be reunited with our loved ones. What a day that will be! Although I have not seen "MOM" for 18 years I still feel her loss. My prayers are with Charlie, Denny, Linda, and Tim. I am so sorry for your loss.-Fred

Wayne & Family:
I'm so, so sorry to hear of Barb's passing. You know, the thing is, I think of you all every week! I drive down Watterson Trail at least once a week and whenever I turn that curve, I look over at "your house" and remember what fun it was to come over with Mom & Da to hear you all play music and hang out with Tim. Barb made us all feel right at home. You guys were all like family and I know Barb will be greatly missed by everyone.

Wayne and Family,
I am very sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. I remember many fun weekends at your house (or you and Barb at ours)with you and Dad playing the guitar while Mom and Barb sang along. You all probably thought we kids were off playing but we were in the other room enjoying the music! Barb was always so kind and happy and fun to be around. Condolences, Jeanie Emenegger-Wimsatt
