I just found out about Bonnie's passing from another Waggener H.S. friend while visiting Louisville from my home in N.C. Bonnie was a good friend of mine from 7th-10th grade. We used to design floor plans together as a "hobby." We were also in the Drill Corps together at Waggener. I transferred to Westport for Jr./Sr. years and unfortunately did not keep in contact with her. I regret that now and it is too late. This picture is just how I remember her. It sounds like she had a wonderful, fulfilling, but too short, life.

Tom, Shane (Sugar).....My condolence's to you for the loss of such a beautiful soul. Although we shared only a long distance friendship, Bonnie's strength, humor and love for life made an impression that I will never forget. I only wish I could have made that trip to finally hug her and say thank you in person for the friendship she so freely gave. Her encouraging writings, and wonderful homemade crafts will always be a reminder of how selfless she was, and I will keep them near to refresh the smiles they brought when they were new. Godspeed Bonnie, you will be sorely missed.

Tom and Heath,
I am so thankful to have been a part of your lives for the past six months. Nothing made me happier than knowing Bonnie was looking forward to seeing me every weekend and I will be forever grateful for her friendship. Rest in Peace Bon-bon.
She will be so greatly missed at Westport Place.
