She was one of my sister Debby;s closest comrades along with Patty Stone and Jim Walsh, two fantastic people and we all lived in Audubon Park.
I remember when I went by to see her and a young boyfriend many years ago when we were on Dove Road, I aways thought she looked like a young Sophia Loren and had a magical sense of art, joy, and talent galore. I lost touch with her many years ago but was a sponsor of her wonderful works of art, especially the fantastic beaded pieces she did for me. I am so very saddened to hear of her passing. She also took very good care of one of my oldest friends during his illness for several years.

She had a tremendous talent and had the ability to see with such depth into so many aspects of life.
Collis I wish you great piece and joy and no pain.

I will miss your wonderful heart and commanding presence. May God bless you and your family.

So sad to hear of Collis' passing. I have not seen her in years and was shocked to hear the news. What a gentle, beautiful, loving lady of mant talents.

Collis hasn't been a member of the Kentucky Society of Natural History for a few years, but I remember her for being a warm, fun-loving person. We all will miss her and Berl posted her obit on our Facebook page for those members who still hold her in their memories. My condolences to her family.

My family grew up next door to the Marshalls. I remember Collis and her family as warm, open, free spirits. Audubon Park was a special place to grow up- lots of neighborhood games and laughter. My sister, who still lives in Louisville, told me about Collis' death and we were both very sad.
