It's Kentucky Derby time! I miss you so much Dale. Thank you for trusting in me to care for you. I think of you everyday ... I cry smile and laugh. You taught me so much and you were my best friend. We had so much fun. I miss waking up and bringing your coffee... u made my day with your kind words of gratitude and appreciation of me. I miss tucking you in at night and hearing your thankful words of helping you through another day. I miss our talks late at night into the wee hours about life , you taught me so much about me. I miss crying with you and laughing with you. I miss your home and the happiness I felt there. I miss you so very much. I hate it that you're gone. I bet you're looking down on the Kentucky Derby today and having a mint julep with Joe. Oh yes.. can't forget the frog legs and corn bread. I will never forget you. I'm so grateful for you. I miss you so much Dale.

So sorry to hear this news. Dale was the sweetest person and his personality was amazing. When he would come and visit Louisville, Dale would stop by and see us even when he was so busy. He had a heart of gold and he will be missed. Our condolence goes to the family and we will be thinking and praying for you during this difficult time. Dale you will always have a place in our hearts!!

Remember fighting with Dale and Forrest Coogle on the basketball court at Shawnee HS. Dale was our center when SHS tied with Male HS for the Louisville City Championship. He was the star of our tean as well as a genuinely fine person.
