To the Kantor Family,<br />We first met Dave at a CAP camp in Oshkosh, Wisconsin during the summer of 2013. He was a terrific example of quiet leadership with the cadets and had a true fascination for flight. Please accept our sincere condolences.

We all have lost a dear and close friend. A good
family man who loved his family above all. He set
a good example to those people that had the good fortune to know him. Colonel Kantor and his
staff has put the Kentucky CAP on the map.
I have lost a brother and a true friend. I take joy
in the knowledge David took that last flight into
the hands of God.

David was a great friend. As good a friend as anyone could ever ask for. We met more than 33 years ago as college freshmen; literally on our first day on campus at band rehearsal, became fast friends, and kept in touch regularly through all these years. He led a busy life with his family, career, volunteer activities and hobbies, and he accomplished more in his years than most people. But he always took the time to visit, call, email, text or in some way stay in contact. We shared many experiences, memories and laughs over the years. David was one of those lifelong friends and he will be greatly missed. My condolences to Lyndee, Justin, Ashlyn, Haylee and all of David's family.
