MAYS, ERNEST, 91, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014.
He was retired from BF Goodrich Co. , an Army veteran of World War II and member of Derby City Jim Beam Bottle Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel.
He is survived by his sister, Thelma Ellington; nieces and nephews.
His funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is after 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Opal's Dream Foundation, 689 Heritage Hill Parkway, Shepherdsville, KY, 40165.
