Mills, Catherine Rose,
Catherine Rose Mills, 72, of Mt. Washington, passed away June 8, 2017. She was a native of Raywick, Kentucky. Rose was retired from General Electric Appliance Park, a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mt. Washington and managed the Twelve Oaks Clubhouse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazy and Anna Downs; brothers, Charlie and Joe Downs.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Michael Mills; daughters, Michelle Lunsford (Eric) and Debbie Mills (Todd Gary); sisters, Hazel Ann Fowler, Mary Lou Bright (Junior) and Theresa Thomas; brothers, Tommy Downs(Lou) and Jimmy Downs; grandchildren, Josh and Erica Lunsford.
Her funeral mass will be 10:00 am Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 155 Stringer Lane in Mt. Washington with burial in St. Francis Cemetery in Raywick, KY. Visitation will be 2-8 pm Sunday at Schmid Funeral Home in Mt. Washington.
