Vogel, William Henry Sr.,
96, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017.
He was a successful salesman for Oertle's 92 Brewery and in the car sales industry. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion and VFW.
He is survived by his children, John, Hank (Donna), Joe, Gabe (Debbie), and Brad (Kim), Vogel and Rose Marie Allgeier; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and brother, Joe T. Vogel.
His funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday.
His family wants to thank Hosparus for the excellent care they provided, especially Yvonne, Tracy and Toemika and suggests that memorial gifts take the form of contributions to Hosparus.

To the Vogel Family, My heart is very sad receiving this news. I honestly thought this wonderful man was going to outlive us all. What a life he had beating cancer more than twice, car accidents and dealing with those sons...LOL!
Mr. Vogel you were there for me in a hard time during my life and I never forgot it. Bless you in heaven with two more very special angels I have up there.
