When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. May that wonderful treasure fill your heart with love and bring you a measure of peace. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Randy was the best of the teachers during my first year of pathology training. His relaxed, unhurried, and comprehensive teaching instilled much needed confidence in the interns and residents. He was immune to pressure and always correct in his diagnoses, a role model difficult to emulate.

Randy was a person you immediately loved when you met him. He was an example of how God wants us to love and cherish one another. May he celebrate in heaven with Betty and their loved ones gone before him.

Randy was a great guy. When I was young he gave me allergy shots when he and Betty lived on Eastern Parkway. I was a page boy in his wedding and I always enjoyed visiting he and Betty on Valetta Road when we were in town. Most recently Mary and I spent a week every February in Venice Florida for a retirement reunion. Our motel was just down the beach from where he owned a place to spend time in the winter. Usually after unpacking at the motel we would hike down the beach to see if he was there. Until recently he usually was and later in the week we would get together for lunch or dinner. We always really enjoyed our time with him there. He was a very nice and intelligent man and we will miss him.
