I wanted to send my deepest sympathy after hearing of his Jesse's passing. My name is Randi Grider, Jesse was my grandfathers ( Paul P. Grider) brother. My father was Paul E Grider. Both have also passed. I would love to hear from his family I have copies of our family tree that go back into the 1800's and would love to send them your way. I do hope to hear from you all. Sending thoughts your way.

We are so sorry to hear of Jesse's passing. It was Jesse that selected me to fill the vacancy as the Deputy In Charge of the Owensboro Office. This move permitted my wife and I to be closer to our families and the area of the country we love. For this I shall forever be indebted to Jesse. I was an honor to serve first as a Deputy under his direction and then to continue to serve as his friend throughout our careers.

My sympathy to Barbara and family.

Jesse and Barbara lived 2 doors from the house where I grew up in St. Matthews. Most all the couples in the neighborhood were younger than my parents but they all enjoyed a nice friendship. My parents were especially proud of the sacrifices Jesse, as a US Marshall, and Barbara, as his spouse, made for his service. They made sure we appreciated the importance of serving. Jesse and Barbara were also very personable and fun to be around. Good people and neighbors.

Peace to Jesse, Barbara and their loved ones.
