JoAnne was such a gracious host. I recall staying over at her lovely home in the 1970s and 80s. She often welcomed Linda's friends visiting from Murray State University for Sunday Derby brunch! She had a keen mind and was an engaging. Her English degree was apparent! She will be missed.

Goodbye Joanne and I say that formally. She was the first adult woman that when I was a kid, she insisted on being called by her given name. Not Mrs. Tingley not Mrs. T it's Joanne. I have lived next door to Joanne for 53 years and it has been a pleasure to know her. She warm, friendly and for the most part easy going. I remember her cats - Salt-Pepper-Misha and the black one whose name escapes me at the moment. That was the last cat she had. That Misha was a lion at heart. I would be working in the back yard and Joanne would call ne over to pick up the latest victim of that cat. Then she would offer refreshment like coke, lemonade or later in life a beer. We would sit and chew the fat on the patio. I miss those days. Joanne , you were a great neighbor, friend and all around good egg. I'll miss you, My sincere condolences to Mary, Linda, Bill and Jack I remember the first time in that house. We were listening to the Beatles Help album which had just been released. WOW has it been that long. Joanne has been freed of the earthly bounds and now rests in the sweet grass Gods pasture.

BE AT PEACE

Joanne played an important role with the Belknap Neighborhood for many years as a volunteer leader. She was always kind and generous with her time and concern for her neighbors. Her contributions made the neighborhood a better place. May she rest in peace.
