Dr. Hagan will always hold a special place in my heart. She helped me through a very difficult time after my dad died. I am so grateful for the work she did. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. She will be missed.

I had the great privilege of meeting Katie during her freshman year at Rhodes College. We became good friends during the three years we shared there. As many of our college friends have said today, she was a bundle of energy! I last saw Katie when she visited me in Charleston, SC, during the summer after my second year of law school - a great time shared with her KD big sister Margaret Wood Atwood. As often happens, we drifted apart over the 25+ years since then. For me, she will now forever be 21 years old in her green KD jersey, sweat pants and denim jacket. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
