Oh, what wonderful memories we have of Katie (and John) Dobbs! When we moved to Louisville and knew almost no one there, they welcomed us with open hearts, an open home, and some of the finest home-cooked food anywhere! We were blessed so richly by the warm hospitality, the simple ministry of service, and the unfeigned love Katie showed us. Well done, ma'am! Sweet shall be your memory with us always! Praying for you all!

The whole heavenly host have been praising & rejoicing when it was time for sweet Katie to go Home!! And knowing how I know Katie, she was ready to go Home!! She will be missed, to say the least. Katie had a heart of gold & she treated us like her own children. I will always remember sitting with her in the living room as we talked about the Word of God, listening to her stories, her telling me that no matter I needed to always draw near to God & trust Him. She was ever so right. I would love to have been able to share with her that her 'son', Jimbo, will one day join her in Beulah Land!! She never got to hear that the Lord saved Jimbo. Oh, gosh, she is going to be missed by so many. Katie was a mother figure to me! This is indeed bittersweet news. But thankfully, one day, Jimmy and I will see her again one day!!! Prayers for the family during this great loss.
