Shane, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I will be praying for you and the rest of your family. God will shine upon you all during this time and bring peace. I met your dad the "Yankee" fan a few times and he was fun to chat with. He will be watching out from heaven on you all.

As I get older and think back on all the people I have met, I realize that a name does not always go with the faces in those memories. That could NEVER be said of my friend, Larry Linton. He was a force of nature, a wonder of the world, a jewel to our city. When Larry opened a door and entered a room, the room expanded, it lit up. You knew that soon you would be bent over grasping your stomach, trying to breathe, while at the same time wiping away tears from all the laughter. I cannot recall a memory where I found Larry doing anything but smiling. This man loved his friends. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren! There will never be a person to compare him to in my life, but hopefully everyone will have a person like Larry, who will make them smile as often and laugh as hard as this man made me. Larry Linton, the memories, his face and name I will NEVER forget!
