Smith, Paula Elizabeth Epps, 54, of Louisville died Tuesday September 26, 2017 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center of Louisville. She was a native of Chicago, IL, a domestic and a Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by a son Joseph S. Epps.

Survivors include her husband Ricky E. Smith; a daughter Stephanie J. Epps; a son Demetris D. Warren; two stepdaughters Michelle Smith and Trinia Lewis; her mother Ruby Douglas; a sister Robin Richmond; three brothers Christopher Epps; Geoffery Epps and Michael Epps (Theresa) and 7 grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday October 3, 2017 at W. P. Porter Mortuary 2611 Virginia Ave., with burial in Green Meadows Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday. Online condolences wpportermortuary.com

I am saddened to hear of her passing away. I have some fond memories of her from growing up in Cotter Homes. Her soft gentle voice and beautiful smile. Remember that God takes only the best for his garden. You are in my prayers.
