BRASHER, RICHARD, 68, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013.
He was a member of Southern Star Baptist Church, retired employee from Ford Motor, and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia A. Brasher, children: Steven Kelsey (Diane), LaTedria (Antonio), and Jametrius Brasher (Nicole), step children: Kevin White (Natalie), and Kelly Benson; eight siblings, 18 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a host of family and friends.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m Friday, A. D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at his church, 2304 Algonquin Pkwy., with burial in Louisville Cemetery.

Please accept my condoloscense for your loss. Brother Brashear attended Sunday School and Church faithfully at our church, Southern Star. I loved to hear him sing (that man could sing). My mom and I will miss him but he will be singing for our Lord up in heaven. RIP Brother Brasher
