Robert Ware Streeter
Louisville - Robert was born on January 26, 1998 with a twinkle in his eye and a jaunty grin. He kept both from his first breath until his last.
Born to Amy Lynn Schoenhoff Streeter and Warren Stuart "J R" Streeter Jr. Robert was the second of four children, a devoted brother, both little and big.
He was always his own person. Genuine, sincere and generous to a fault, his life was lived with a heart wide open, and he shared his caring nature with the world every day. Robert studied culinary arts at the University of North Alabama, and loved to cook for people, regularly entertaining a kitchen full at his family home. He was the best hide and go seek player of all of us, loved to tinker with anything mechanical, and was his mother's right hand man at the family florist business. A born athlete, he played rugby, lacrosse and football at both college and his alma mater, Trinity High School.
Robert was beloved by every soul he ever met, and his love for us was the most precious of gifts. He passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018, after being struck by a car. We will miss him for the rest of our lives.
Robert was preceded in death by his grandfather, Warren Stuart Streeter Sr.
Robert is survived by his parents, Amy and J R Streeter; siblings, Stuart, Edward and Margaret Streeter; grandparents, Ann Streeter, and Robert and Peggy Schoenhoff; aunts and uncles, Debbie Kaufmann (Alan), Paula Schoenhoff, Molly Schoenhoff (Jason Weber), Nancy Schoenhoff (Jessica George), Emily Schoenhoff Iliff (Nick); cousins, Hannah and Joseph Steere, Noah Weber, Eloise, Everett and Beckham Iliff, Daniel Kaufmann (Tatum), David Kaufmann (Rebekah), Amy Madison (Doug); his girlfriend, Rachel Nutt; and a wealth of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be at 27 Eastover Court on Tuesday, August 21 from noon to 7pm. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Church of the Holy Spirit, 3345 Lexington Road on Wednesday, August 22 at 10 A. M.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Support Center of Kentuckiana.
Embry-Bosse Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.

Robert was a great guy. I had the pleasure of working on his E30 BMW with him at my house. I will never forget his choice for a black carbon hood on that red convertible. A truly excellent young man. My heart and prayers are with the Streeter Family.

Amy and JR, I din't know if you remember me seeing Stuart as a child but I remember your sweet kids and come in the shop from time to tume. Your terrible loss really resonates with me as we lost our only nephew in a tragic accident at the same age. Loving family and friends will help you through this dark time and I assure you that Robert will always be there if you talk about him and the wonderful qualities he possessed.

Amy and family, there are no words - I know. I'm so sorry you have to endure this. I have not seen you in years or met your Streeter family, but I am so heartbroken for you. I'm sure your son was a terrific person. Please, if you need to talk or just vent, message me on FB. I will absolutely understand and be able to relate. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this horrific time.

Streeter family, thank you for the opportunity to be Robert's rugby coach for several years, and blessing me with the privilege to get to know Robert. He always lit up a practice or a game, always willing to help his brothers/teammate, always had a smile and taught me how to be a better person. My thoughts and prayers for your family.

The world is less of a place without Robert Streeter. I am the father of Nikki Fleischer . When he came into our home the house lit up with that smile , good looking face , contagious smile and aura he projected. He was a joy when he came with us to Nolin Lake. Robert was helpful , polite and very entertaining. For all of us that were touched by him , his heart and soul will be watching us and he will ever be in our hearts , thoughts and soul. " I love you man " . Thank you for rescuing at a moments notice and being so wonderful to Nikki. It meant the world to both of us. Gods speed .... Jim Fleischer
