Hopson, Sarah Dean,

Sarah Dean Hopson "Aunt Cush", 96 passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017.

She was born on Feb. 17, 1921 in Jewel City, Ky.

Sarah was a long time member of Beechmont Baptist Church and retired after many years from GE. For 70 years, she made her home at 102 West Tenny, however her last four years she resided at Treyton Oak Towers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Archie "Biggie" Hopson, parents Cora and Roy Miller, and siblings Charles Miller and Nora "Sally" Hall.

Survivors include her youngest sister Becky Short and many nieces and nephews.

She will be sorely missed by both friends and family alike. She was an inspiration to all.

Funeral service 10 AM Wednesday, Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd. with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation 2 to 8 PM Tuesday.

Contributions may be made to Beechmont Baptist Church or Hosparus.
