Mrs. Kaiser will be sorely missed by me. I came to know her well, at the Episcopal Home, during visits with Mercy, our church's Comfort Dog. She was an excellent quilter, and I loved all the quilts and wall hangings she had in her room. She enjoyed showing me her projects and encouraged me to try new things with my own quilt projects! She became a friend, as well as an inspiration! I am so sad - - she was loved by so many.

Starr was a devoted volunteer at The Anchorage Studio For The Reading Impaired , which is where I knew her and shared her interest in recording for everyone who needed help reading. Inam Shalati, another volunteer, joins me in sending a message that we loved her enthusiasum and her smiling voice.
