Bartley, Thelma M.,
86, passed away on May 9, 2017. She was born in Tompkinsville, KY to Ethrie Biggers and Evie Fish on March 25, 1931.
Thelma loved her family and filled their lives with great joy and laughter. She shared her smile and loving heart with everyone she met. If you knew her you couldn't help but love her. She will be greatly missed by so many.
Thelma is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, John W. Bartley; son, James R. Bartley (Judy); daughter, Linda Breedlove (Robert); grandchildren, Stacy (Tom), Christy, Jessica (Ben), Rob (Liz), Alisha; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Matt, Bradley, McCauley, Katie, Blake, Brooke, Ian, Graham; and brothers, John Biggers (Edna) and Ken Biggers (Norma).
A service to celebrate Thelma's life will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 12, at Arch L. Heady and Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road, with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hosparus.
