In life we rarely find a person with whom we can laugh uncontrollably with. One who knows what your thinking. One who knows and understands what your going through. One who handles their own life's misfortunes with grace and even humor. One who loves their God and family the way we were meant to.
This dear man was all this and so much more.
The kind of friend that no matter how much time and distance came between us, we still remained close.
Thank you God, for Terry, and may the family's pain and sorrow due to this great loss be tempered by the sweet memories of a life so lovingly and faithfully lived.
God bless you all. Terry made my life and this world better for who he was.
Praise The Lord.

Dear Houchin Family,

I apologize for the lateness of this condolence, but I missed the notice of Terry's passing in the newspaper.

Terry was a good friend to me and all of the employees of the District Construction Office. We worked with him almost daily concerning utility permit issues on construction sites. I never knew him not to be upbeat and happy. I will remember him, and all of the family, in my daily prayers.
