My prayers and thoughts go out to you Ellen and your family. May happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time.

My Friend. I just had a feeling. After all these years we part company. From little 7 year olds playing street hockey and baseball, from 12 year olds playing Little League, or homerun derby with wiffle balls. And learning how to cook after school at 13 while our parents were working and almost burning the house (your house) down. And learning how to drive together at 16 with your Dad's stick shift, and both of us dating the same girl (Ellen) for our senior proms at Keith and THS, and me leaving for DC and you staying in the house of your childhood. And you welcoming me back everytime I came to visit my family, and our attending our weddings, and sharing the loss of parents and even the loss of a child. And sharing kid and grandkid stories and sharing gossip around town and me making you think I was a big DC guy, and always sharing birthday calls and holiday calls, and having lunch together while you made all the servers laugh. For the times I just knew you were hurting but never let on. And for the last call when I just had the feeling. And know, no more pain, my friend. Until we see each other . Love you, Jackie.
