Dixie was one of my best friends. I knew her for 37 years. She and I worked together at Williamston Community Schools. Dixie always had a wonderful smile, so eager to help whether it was baking cookies for a special church event or helping someone (me) wash a heavy quilt at night at the Laundromat. She never said no. Dixie, her husband, me, my husband were always ready at a minutes notice to go to dinner or help pick out an item at a big box store. She will be dearly missed. I loved her so much.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Dixie always had a smile on her face and I will miss seeing her at our family reunions. You will be in my prayers.

What a delightful person to know. She always had that beautiful smile waiting to greet everyone. She will be one bit of sunshine missed in Williamston, Michigan.

Rest in peace Dixie. You were a good neighbor.
