Don was an amazing man. I loved to listen to his stories. He had so much kindness and love to give. I thank the family for allowing me the honor and privilege of being one of the caretakers in Don's life. He will forever be missed and always remembered.

Uncle Don, a man who had a smile for everyone he encountered. So much of my youth includes memories of him. My many week long Summer visits swimming and being carefree. I wish I could relive those memories and tell my younger self to hug him a little tighter, listening closer to his great stories and relish in his joy. My heart goes out to Kim, Cindy, Donny and Brandi (my partner in crime), their precious children who were so blessed with such a wonderful grandfather. And to his brothers and sisters who taught us kids the meaning of family togetherness and loyalty! I will remember to smile my Check smile more often and fly fish as much as I can in honor of Uncle Don!
