Dear Mrs. Washington, Kendra, and Dwight, I am sorry to read about Mr. Washington's passing. My thoughts are with you all, now and often. Great love and respect to each of you. Daira (and family)

To the Washington family. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Your father and I worked together at the Michigan Department of Public Health in the 1980's . He was just a pleasure to know and have a cup of coffee with at break time. He added a spark of good will and friendship and courtesy to what was at times was a negative environment. He left our office a better place for having been there. He left all of us better for having known him. I still have a clay basket he made for me. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Dwight and Family ~ We were so sorry to read about your father/husband/brother/uncle in the LSJ. We were as disappointed in not being able to attend his funeral services. Dwight, we know your father is/was so very proud of you.

Please know that many people are keeping you and yours in their thoughts during this most difficult time.

Sincerely, Marie and Bill Howe

I worked with Jonathan at the State Capital for many years. He always had a smile and a good word to say about life. I still own a piece of his pottery. He loved his family without measure. My condolence to them. Please hold real tight to the wonderful memories of Jonathan. I know I will.
