Dear Dad,
It was just a few short days ago I said goodby to you for the last time as I returned home to my family and work.
I will always cherish the times I spent with you over the years whether it was golfing with you in Michigan, spending time with you and Mom in Florida, or family reunions and get togethers in Ft.Wayne.
Thank you for your kindness, friendship and unconditional love for your family, God and country.
It has been my honor to have Had you in my life and most of all being your Son-in-law.
Thank you for giving me my beautiful bride Kathleen and our wonderful son Vincent.
Thank you for giving me the honor of helping you in your time of need over the past few years.
Most of all, thank you for being you.
I'll love you always, Dave

I had three Uncle Joes growing up in our large family. But this was Uncle Joe Jelly Bean. He loved black jelly beans. Growing up, I discovered this and would save black jelly beans from my Easter basket to feed him at the next family gathering. We had a lot of family get togethers in the day. So many reasons to gather. He was so loving, and I remember him picking me up to be on his lap and feed him jelly beans. Always classy - handsome - sweet and caring. What a wonderful and long life. I'm glad he finally got his reward. Thanks Uncle Joe Jelly Bean - Kim (Berner)
