Lana, we will miss you! We have always held you close to our hearts as we have journeyed together at Michigan State, Mason Presbyterian, Class of 55!
You have led an exemplary life. Doug, our son, enjoyed knowing you while he was a student at MSU. May you still be able to cheer those Spartans on while you are with our Lord.

Lana was MSU through and through. She also was a volunteer for WKAR Radio Reading Service once a month. I will miss her smiling face around here at WKAR.

So sorry to hear about Lana. I worked with Lana in the gift shop at the Medical Care Facility of ingham County. Although I didn't know her for long she was always such a pleasant and caring lady. She will be missed.

After Lana retired from MSU, Lana came to work with us at the Mole Hole in downtown Lansing..
Her kind ways and friendly personality made her a favorite with customers and employees alike.

I remember one early morning a few days before Christmas one year when we had expeeienced a huge snow storm. I was more than a little grouchy about the prospects of a bad sales day. Most employees had called in explaining they could not work because of the weather conditions. There was not a soul on the streets downtown.

In walks Lana, with a big smile. I said, " Lana, no one is out in this weather. How did you get here?"
She said, "
I walked, and caught the Michigan Ave bus, just like I always do." Why? Don't you need me?

I had to laugh, gave her a hug, then turned on the lights and we opened the store.

Lana was a good friend who will be missed.
