I have known Mary Ellen about 32 years, I used to pick her up when she and the girls lived in DeWitt and we went to work at Public Health Been friends ever since I just talked to her about 3 weeks ago and we were talking about going out to dinner with my daughter and Kelly when this pandemic was over. She sounded so good, was talking about her cats and both of our orders from Shipt. My thoughts and prayers go out to her girls and all of her family,

MaryEllen (or ME, as she was affectionately known to many) was a dear friend for 45 years. Over that time, we shared many adventures....lunches, shopping, road trips, hours on the phone, days at the lake...and countless others. We supported each other through health crises and personal challenges. We always picked up where we left off, regardless of how long it had been since we saw each other or talked. MaryEllen will always be in my heart, and I send my love to her girls.

My prayers and heartfelt condolences for Christine, Karen, Kelly and family. Mary Ellen was not only a cousin but someone I always looked up to and whom I always looked forward to seeing and talking with when family gathered. Her smile and beautiful spirit will be greatly missed.
