So very sorry to hear about the loss of Mike. I had the pleasure of working with him for many years and will never forget his quick wit and his deep love of his family and friends. Deepest sympathy to all.

I attended St. Thomas Aquinas with Mike and a variety of reprobates and ne're-do-wells, myself included. We had a lot of fun and Mike was always a fun loving, goofy, gregarious guy. Often he was the instigator of much of our hi-jinks. I remember once when he got in trouble with Mrs. Goff in eighth grade and Mike challenged her authority. She grabbed him literally by the ear and took pulled him out of the classroom. How we laughed... Mike later saying "it was worth the pain"!

I ran into Mike over the years a few times with much of our conversation built around our STA days. We'd reminisce about all the trouble us boys (Bennigton, Bone, Bozzo, Schnieder, Cassidy, Martin, Smith, Cordes, to name a few) all got in together with Sister Lucy and the other nuns. How we'd laugh. Those we great times and he made most of them all the better. He was such an affable guy.

My deepest condolences to his family. Mike will be dearly missed.

Mike lived around the corner from us, and was a consistent part of the neighborhood action at all times. From slot cars to baseball to kick-the-can to snowball fights, Mike was always there with a smile. I had the unique opportunity of being on the evening channel 6 news with Mike when we were both interviewed in Frandor about the recent Apollo spacecraft that had just returned to Earth. Naturally, he did all the talking! Many memories, many good times, Mike will be greatly missed.

I went to school with Mike. Wonderful man and wonderful person. He will be truly missed.
