PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL.... CB WAS ALWAYS ONE OF THE BRIGHT SPOTS OF THE SEE BEE REUNIONS. .. THE STORIES AND LAUGHS. .. RIP CB !!
January 28, 2018
To me, the heroes we should worship are our parents' generation, which came out of the Great Depression and then went to war. When I first met CB over 50 years ago, he was a forbidding figure. Over the years (and when I was no longer dating one of his daughters), he became a mentor, friend, and a model of integrity for me. His service inspired me to join the Navy, and many years later, he invited me to speak at his SeaBee reunion, where I became an honorary SeaBee. He was a personal anchor for me and his family, and a bedrock for his community. I count it as one of my great blessings in life that I knew CB Martin, and he counted me as a friend.

Dear Jan, I just learned this morning the news of your Dad. I am so very sorry for your loss. You were blessed to have such wonderful parents and they were also blessed to have such a devoted daughter. My thoughts are with you,

Please give Aunt Connie a hug for me - tell her Fulton is Fulton and Key is a big girl now, and yes, I know she pretended that Walker didnt break the vase - thank you both for your warmth, generosity and kindness to my children - and yes, CB...I looked for it like you told me to and I have it.

Dear Jan,
Our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. So sorry about your Dad.You had amazing and gifted parents. Both were inspiring to others. C.B. illustrated how to make the most of the golden years. You were a wonderful daughter to your Dad & an example to others. I regretfully will miss the service due to flu. Will be there in spirit. Respectfully, Jan & Larry Isom
