I truly loved my friend Tootsie! Many hours spent solving problems, laughing and playing games around her Mom's table when Tootsie and Owanda would come home for the weekends and holidays....go to Roswell and do the same at Tootsie's. Many memories of my sister Kay and Tootsie on their horses and riding in the grand entries of the many rodeos every summer. I spent hours in the backseat of the Taylor's 19556 or so Buick as Kay and Toots would ride up and down main street in Lorenzo..they were built in babysitters for Tommy and me!
Smart, witty, giving but most of all loving! I cherish my memories of Tootsie, Owanda and the Taylor family. Heartfelt sympathy for her loss to all the Taylor family that I have loved since all those many years ago....thanks for the memories Tootsie!

I was her student at Goddard High School in 1977-78 for senior English. she cultivated in me a love of reading, writing and appreciation for good writing that I have never lost and has GREATLY enriched my life. I had the joy of being friends with her cousin Karen Snow from Lorenzo and that too has been a blessing.

Thanks, Tootsie! You will be missed!

Frances Taylor was a wonderful teacher, hard-nosed but fair, and it was obvious that she cared about each of us. I lost touch, as we often do with those who taught us the most, and was unaware that she was battling cancer. I hope that her suffering was brief. I'm sure her beautiful spirit kept her going and inspired many, as it did through teaching. May God take her to his breast and welcome her home, and soften the grief of those left behind. She will be well remembered by many, especially her students.

I am so sorry to hear of Ms. Taylor's passing. She was a great influence in my life. I took every class she had because she was my favorite teacher. Rest in peace Ms. Taylor.
