Sandra Jean Briscoe-Williams
Lubbock - 63, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held today from 4 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Sandra was born on August 10, 1957, in Mexia, TX. to W.C. Briscoe and Pearlie Ruth Johnson Fluellen. She graduated from Muleshoe High School. Sandra went on to complete a nursing program at Odessa College and become a licensed nurse. Those whose lives were truly blessed and enriched by Sandra's presence on this Earth and remain to carry on her legacy are her "spouse", John W. Williams, Jr.; their children, Ivan (Connie) Williams, Michelle Williams, Audrey (Cliff) Finch, Ernice Williams, Keisha Williams, and Jami (Nakia) Tucker; two brothers Chas Allen Briscoe and Julius Ray Briscoe; four sisters, Barbara Taylor, Vivian Finch, Debra (Leonard) Washington, and Melanie (Dennis) Lee; 28 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

She was a sweet caring person and will be missed.My God daughter step mother I meet her years ago.And she was a sweet and caring person to talk to.

I had the privilege of meeting Sandra many years ago via her brother Chas. She was full of fun, love, and humor. On behalf of myself and siblings, I send our condolences and warmest of wishes to her loved ones.
