Prayers for Mr. Tom Chavez and his family. I will forever be grateful for having met Tom. He gave me the opportunity after I came back home from serving Honorably in the Military, hiring me and opened the door for my 33 year career at EPISD.Great Man,Administrator,Mentor. E. Ruelas

Jeannie, I was so sorry to hear about Tom. Yours was a true love story. I know he will be watching over you from heaven above. You both will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

RIP Mr. Chavez

Jeannie, I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that God give you peace and strength at this difficult time. It's been a long time since I saw you both but David used to keep me posted. My fondest memory of Tom is when he interview me for the Burges registrar job. I froze even if I knew him. Later on he asked me what happened. My answer was those piercing eyes/stare just scare me. He laughed so big that then is when I saw his humor. I have missed you and often thought about you guys. I know that you will have a difficult road ahead but always borrow a shoulder from a loved one. I lost Mario 7 years ago and it really doesn't get easier... one just gets use to it. He will be watching over you and making sure that you are okay.
Love You and Take Care of Yourself,
