After reading Alice's book [which I was able to locate on Amazon] I am even more in awe of this amazingly talented aunt... Sincerest condolences...

Sorry to hear about Aunt Alice... I still remember the Christmas she gave me a bead kit and inspired my love of crafting. Would love a copy of her book...

My thoughts are with your family at this time. She was such an amazing woman, kind, loving, always bringing joy with her.

As you know, the Williams's became quite a big family. As the first grandchild of Jack and Nora, I found myself drawn to Alice as the "big sister" I would never have. She was always patient with me, answered all my questions, gave me fashion and "girl stuff" advice and was quick to loan me just the right outfit when I had a special occasion and my wardrobe was lacking. Although I was just a little kid, she always treated me like an equal and made me feel important. She was such a talent with her art and poetry but never failed to take the time to make me feel good about what I was able to accomplish. She was a treasure.
