I still cant believe youre gone. Yesterday was your service and I must say you would have been proud of your family, especially your granddaughter and best friend, Stephanie, she honored you and your friendship beautifully.
With that said, I came home last night wanting to go in your room and talk to you about the family silliness.
Momma I miss you and I love you even more for trying to protect Stephanie and I until and with your last breath.

A mom is the first to cuddle their child in there arms. The first to show us how to love. She is a teacher, nurse, disciplinarian, and friend. A mom is everything to her child. My mom has now passed, her time of all her jobs are done. My mom has a large family in our own why you were everything to all of us. I love you Mom you will be missed by every heart you touched.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be

So he put his arms around you and whispered time to come home with me

With tearful eyes we watched as you slowly passed away

Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay

Your golden heart stopped beating, your working hands at rest

Just another way that God proves to us he only takes the best

Although your missed more than you'll ever know

We know your in a better place putting on your normal comedy show

I'll keep our promises as I journey through this life

You have a new best friend now, start your journey, was the last thing you told me and my beautiful wife

The last few days I got to spend with you were all I'd hoped they'd be

From the moment I was born, for whatever reason, you always protected me

I will miss our dinner dates and the memories that we shared

Trying to go on in life with a heart still beating but never being repaired

The hardest part in all this is knowing I can't call or see you to help heal my pain

The easy part is knowing your not hurting anymore but smiling and wishing I'd do the same

I love and I miss you so very much

I know you're not that far away and will always keep in touch

So until the day I'm blessed with the chance to see you again

I'll always remember my grandma, the comedian, my very best friend
