Kathryn and I lived one block apart. We played together from grade school on. She loved to tease me and her name for me was "Nasty" Neusty. She was unforgettable. May you rest or have lots of fun on your new adventure. Kay Neustrom Carlson

Kathryn and I went to school together since Crestwood Elementary. We were Brownies and Girl Scouts together as her wonderful mother was our leader! Kathryn and I went to scout camp together for years and had a lot of fun times and experiences. We did all the merits badges together including learning to ride a horse! The picture I will always have of Kathryn in my mind is the day they were announcing the girls that were going to be the new Rhythmetts at LVHS. Kathryn sat in front of me in one of our classes and I remember her turning around and me wishing her LUCK and seeing her wonderful, smiling face full of anticipation and hope. She was selected and was a wonderful addition to the group. We wrote for a few years after our high school graduation and talked a few times on the phone. The last time we spoke she was living in NY. I am sorry we lost contact. There were a couple of people I really wanted to see at our 50th LVHS class reunion and Kathryn was one of them. Until I get there, watch out for those screaming Peacocks Kathryn! Thanks for the memories. With love, Kay

Loved her talent to write and her sense of humor. I am very grateful for the love she had in life and for those who gave her that love. Rest In Peace Kathryn. May your slumber be filled with bright light, warm embraces, and joyous reunions.
