I am so sorry to hear about this very good man leaving this world. I worked at the Loon River Cafe' from 2006-2009. He was a very funny man. One time I was delivering room service to the North building and could not take the cart/hotboxes over the walkway, so he just happened to be there and helped me with 4 trays of food. When we were done I thanked him and I will never forget what he said. He said, "I bet you dread when you get a North building food order, this is horrible." He will be missed.

Dear Nancy and Family,
We were shocked and so sad about John. What a great guy. He always had a big smile and a great attitude. It just felt good to be around him! When I see a $2 bill it reminds us of him. May good memories comfort you.

Dear Nancy and family, we are so sorry for your loss ! I've known John for a few decades (while I came to the US) and can't remember a day he did not have his smile on his face ! He also had a little greeting and a few words for you, anytime. I liked his questioning about what could be bettered (around the hotel). I will also remember him saying I should go back to Germany, since my ideas caused him spending too much money already. I'll always remember John as a very special person ! Chris & Rolf
