With heartfelt sympathy to the Leighton family for your loss. May your fondest memories of George stay with you forever in your hearts. I hope the words of promise found in John 6:40 will bring you a some peace during this time of sorrow.

I will always remember my Uncle Podge as quiet and unassuming but always welcoming and happy to see you. My fondest memory with my Uncle Podge, was riding on a motorized three wheeler on a dirt road in Moosehead. We came around a corner and in the middle of the road stood a very tall female moose. We could have drove right under her. We came to an abrupt stop as she stomped her feet. My Uncle Podge looked at me and said " this would be a good time to turn around". You don't want to get on the bad side of a mother moose."
So we spun that 3 wheeler around and left her in the dust. I will never forget that adventure with my uncle. I will never forget him. My most sincere condolences to all of my cousins and his extended family and friends.
