I remember when we moved to Farmingdale, Mrs. Sipowiz, Hugh, and Sherry brought us soup and fresh homemade bread and welcomed us.
That meal was the first of our happy times spent together.

Dear Sherry and Hugh,
So very sorry to learn of Marje's passing. Over the years she had been a truly good and kind neighbor. We have missed seeing her in her yard or walking around Hallowell. I wish all of your family peace.

We would like to send our sincere condolences to the Sipowicz family on Mrs. Sipowicz' passing. What a kindhearted person she was. She would often visit my Mom on Academy St.Even though she was quite a bit younger than Mom, she seemed to be a link between the past and present, as they had memories of people from many years ago. I know she must have stopped by quite often because just about every time I was in town, she came for a visit, very often on foot. We could always count on her to share all the news about the townsfolk and about her kids. Even after Mom went into assisted living, Marjorie still visited. She was certainly a well-known fixture in Hallowell, and we were always happy to see her. We're so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Holly (Shepherd) and Greg Lanza
